Clown Funeral – Tragically Hilarious
Seemed like a catchy title, but there’s really nothing hilarious about it, just tragic and bizarre. These photos were taken at the Fairview Cemetery, in Springfield, where 79-year-old Norman Thompson, member of the Antioch Shrine Funster Clown Unit, was buried, on May 29. His clown-friends dressed up for the occasion and honored Norman, for the last time. It looks bizarre, I know, but I was reading about this on the web, and found out that this is a tradition for clowns and magicians. Apparently this is the way they show their respect to their fallen colleagues. via Springfield News Sun
Mooning of the Amtrack Train
On every second Saturday of July, people gather outside the Mugs Away Saloon, in Laguna Niguel, California, for the annual Mooning of the Amtrack. Known also as the Mooning of the Train, this tradition dates back to 1979. Legend has it it all started when a rich person walked into the bar and promised free drinks to anyone with enough balls to show their naked behinds to the passing Amtrak train. This year around 1,000 people attended the mooning and a great time doing so. there were no incidents, unlike last year, when many of the 8,000 mooners got intoxicated in public and the festivities had to be shut down. The trains are mostly full when they pass by the Mugs Away Saloon and the conductors even slow down so the passengers can really enjoy the view.
Disturbing art
I don’t know about you but I get the heebee geebees just looking at this little girl. I don’t know what the author had in mind but a little girl in a bathtub full of blood isn’t my idea of artistic vision. Anyway some of you might enjoy them and, as they say, you never discuss taste! So here are some of the most disturbing images I’ve seen lately:
Beer-can heaven
Is this where all the beer-cans go when they’re emptied? No this is just the apartment of a man that’s in-love with beer and hates to clean up. As you can see by looking at this guy, drinking is his passion and he has all those beer-cans to prove it. Drunks makes me sick, but filthy, lazy ones…there’s not yet a word to express what I feel for them. Anyway, enjoy the pics:
